Funding is intended for clinical or scientific research addressing the neuropsychological effects of this deficiency that develops in childhood as a result of the dysfunction or damage of the hypothalamus and/or the posterior pituitary gland. Applicants must obtain two recommendations from an employer, professor, or other individual prior to applying. Priority will be given to applicants from countries with emerging space capabilities and interests who would otherwise not be able to attend an International Astronautical Congress.

Funding is intended for the fellow to pursue postdoctoral research in a laboratory located in a different country than where he or she earned their Ph.D. International exchange is a key feature in the application process. Winning teams will receive $50,000 to carry out their projects and publicize their findings to lawmakers and the general public. Among the objectives of the competition is to foster a new generation of transdisciplinary thought leaders working together and advocating for food systems solutions that can benefit the health of the public. Students must submit a writing based on a topic developed by the advisory committee. The themed piece should be written from the students' personal perspective and voice. Writings are judged holistically on content, purpose, audience, tone, word choice, organization, development, and style.

Awards to USA, Virgin Islands, and Canada eighth-grade students to recognize exceptional pieces of writing. Submissions may be made in any genre of writing. The purpose of the program is to recognize the talents of young writers and to emphasize the significance of writing skills.

Funding is intended to assist IHEs in the establishment of new programs as well as in the expansion of currently existing programs that are seeking additional course curricula and program development. Funding is open to medical residents, private medical practitioners, and individuals outside of radiology. Fellowships to Canada BIPOC undergraduate and medical school students to pursue kidney research. The purpose of the program is to combat inequities in kidney disease education. Participating principal investigators will be required to complete sensitivity instruction if they have not already done so. Areas of focus include targeted initiatives to support training for Black and Indigenous scholars, and how to work with racialized groups disproportionately affected by kidney disease.

Emphasis is placed on researchers whose achievements span the spectrum of health research, from the laboratory to clinical care, to health systems and public policy.

New applicants are required to create an account prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended for organizations that have demonstrated a substantial commitment to contemporary concert music.

Awards of $50,000 to Canada scientists and physicians to recognize outstanding work to treat, cure, or ameliorate brain or heart conditions. The awards are intended for Canadian citizens who have made exceptional contributions to their fields. This award is issued with the expectation that the recipients will continue to make contributions to the field since this is not a lifetime achievement award.

Grants to USA and Canada medical researchers for professional development opportunities related to the field of lupus studies. Funding is intended for travel expenses, salaries and benefits, manuscript submission, equipment and supplies, and technical personnel. The purpose of the program is to advance the work and careers of rheumatology, nephrology, and dermatology fellows and clinicians in basic, clinical, translational, behavioral, or epidemiological lupus research.

Grant of up to $75,000 to a Canada researcher affiliated with an eligible institution for research studies related to lupus. Funding is intended to support new start-up projects and ideas that will improve the lives of people with lupus and their families or significantly advance the field. Eligible projects will focus on discoid or systematic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

Grants to Canada nonprofit organizations to increase market competitiveness in the music sector. First-time applicants must contact program staff prior to applying. Funding is intended to help music producers and promoters strengthen their industry and make a lasting contribution to the local musical experience through a diverse range of compelling Canadian voices. The goal of the program is to enable national service organizations to compete in domestic and international markets.

Grants of up to $45,000 to USA and Canada researchers affiliated with academic institutions in eligible medical fields for new research projects related to pediatric systemic lupus erythematosus. Funding is intended to support start-up projects that will advance the field significantly or improve the quality of life of children living with lupus and their families. Requests will be accepted from pediatric or adult rheumatology, nephrology, and dermatology investigators with academic appointments at a US or Canadian Institution.

Grants of up to $25,000 to Canada musicians and record labels to support new recordings. Applicants must create online profiles prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended for a range of expenses, including but not limited to marketing, video, sound recording, and performance support.

Grants and in-kind donations to Canada registered charities, nonprofit organizations, and schools for green space projects that benefit the community. Funding is intended for the expansion or establishment of gardens and green spaces. The purpose of this program is to help youth and communities enjoy the benefits of gardening; such as encouraging healthy eating habits while learning how to grow your own food and the health benefits that come from being outdoors and interacting with nature and other members of the community.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International investigators for research projects that are focused on promoting conflict resolution and long-term peace. Priority will be placed on projects that investigate how the conditions of peace can be furthered as well as how the causes of war and other forms of violence can be addressed, including their effects on people and society.

Grants to USA and Canada partnerships between funders, communities, and government leadership to create prosperous, sustainable, and just communities. Funding may be used for personnel costs and project-related expenses. This grant is designed to enhance local capacity to build equitable and sustainable communities in the United States and Canada through trust-based grantmaking that supports equitable collaborative partnerships.

Grants to Canada registered charities, schools, libraries, community organizations, and amateur athletic associations for programs to benefit children and youth. Eligible organizations align with one of the following areas of interest: community, education, and health. Funding is intended for capacity building, projects that benefit children and youth up to the age of 21, and programs addressing reconciliation.

Fellowships to USA and Canada entrepreneurs to develop ideas for innovative, high-impact environmental or social ventures. The purpose of the fellowship is to build character and resilience in participants and to provide them with technical assistance from dedicated professional mentors.

Award to a USA, Canada, or International individual to recognize an original breakthrough or discovery in the field of cancer research. Candidates for this award have furthered cancer prevention, treatments, and early diagnosis. The discovery must have had a significant impact on the cancer field and made a direct impact on saving lives.

Grants to Canada eligible schools and nonprofit organizations, school boards, and First Nations education authorities partnering with schools for programs that encourage literacy in Kindergarten and elementary classrooms. Grant funds may be used for special projects and events as well as for the purchase of new books at a discounted price. This program is geared towards schools in neighborhoods with demonstrated financial need. Eligible applicants receive a majority of their funding from the provincial or federal government.

Award of up to $5,000 to a USA, Canada, or International undergraduate activist in recognition of exceptional activities that promote the preservation of freshwater and marine resources. Eligible nominees have championed their cause and garnered peer support throughout the school year. In addition to the monetary prize, the winner will also receive mentorship from MCN and be partners for the academic year.
